Yoga Foundations is beginner-friendly, focused on cultivating the core principles that support a healthy body and mind: stability, ease, breathing, and focus with the support of visualization. Come explore asanas (postures) as landmarks on a map of human movement, a practice that is not just about those destinations but also about exploring the space in between. This approach encourages each student to adapt the practice to what their body needs that day. Safety is emphasized throughout, with options that include modified shapes or simplifying focus to just stillness, breathing, and visualization. This class is meant as a retreat to allow your mind and body to recalibrate with each other, fostering nervous system balance, mental hygiene, and a more sustainable relationship with movement.
